Impressions by organizer- Stefan Tunedal about the vernissage of In recognition of Malala Yousafzai Poster Show
"The Malala poster show opening yesterday with concert. There will be more pictures later of each individual work but this is just to let you know that we had a really great time. The art was greatly appreciated and so was the concert.
I was quite happy with the number of people who showed up and very pleased with the reactions to the theme of the show and the show as a whole. For example, two women demanded of me to walk them through the whole thing, telling them about each artist, and they were thrilled about learning something about you guys, individually.
Each artist's name and country is printed on a sticker next to the artwork, and this was a success, I think. Quite a few said it was nice to learn where the work was originated from.
So far, five posters was booked by visitors and I will send it to them when the two months have passed and I will contact the artists individually.
Today, in an hour or so, I will return to the show room and do a lecture about Mirca to people coming from various art associations. Looking forward to this. And of course, these people will learn about this Malala poster show as well."
