144 years ago was born on April 2, 1879, the world-famous Albanian actor, Alexander Moissi

A whole generation loved him, the "incomparable lover", who through his voice entered the hearts of the entire German nation", Stefan Zweig wrote about him. From the lucky meeting with the great actor Josef Kainz in Vienna, which gave him the first knowledge of acting, to the work with the famous director Max Reinhardt in Berlin, from where his meteoric career starts, Moissi managed to show all the potential of his talent his acting in prestigious works of world dramaturgy. He was the first actor who skillfully conveyed both the characters of the modern theater of Ibsen, Wedekind, Strindberg and Pirandello, those of Greek tragedies, as well as those of the classical texts of Shakespeare, Tolstoy, etc.
