💡💡IMAGINE PEACE TOWER💡💡 is illuminated on Viðey Island in Reykjavík, Iceland on Saturday 9th October at 8pm Reykjavík time = 9pm London/Liverpool = 4pm NY = 1pm LA = 5am Tokyo, following a speech from the Mayor of Reykjavík, Mr. Dagur B Eggertsson.

For those in Iceland, Yoko Ono invites everyone to travel to Viðey Island on the Elding ferry, free of charge. The first ferry will leave Skarfabakki at 18:00pm and it will sail back and forth until 7:30pm. After the ceremony, the first ferry will leave at 8:30pm from Viðey until the island has been evacuated. Ferry rides after the 9th of October are scheduled by Elding. ATTENTION – WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO DRESS APPROPRIATELY ACCORDING TO WEATHER.

The installation of the Imagine Peace Tower is a collaboration of Yoko Ono, Reykjavík City, Reykjavík Art Museum, Reykjavík City Museum and Reykjavík Energy.
