Richard Meier (born October 12, 1934) is an American abstract artist and architect,
whose geometric designs make prominent use of the color white.
Richard Meier is one those giant talent, whose carrier was came to an end by personal causes,
althougn in my article I would like to present his lifework as an architect in a nutshell.
Until March 13, in 2018, when he resigned.
He accomplished extraordinary lifework and architecture.
He has received four of architecture's most respected awards:
the Pritzker Prize in 1984, the RIBA Royal Gold Medal in 1988,
and both the AIA Gold Medal and the Praemium Imperiale in 1997.
Meier has designed several iconic buildings including
the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art, the Getty Center in Los Angeles,
the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, and San Jose City Hall.
