ARTIST STATEMENT

"My paintings depicting nature: that surrounds us, the micro- and macrososmos and human nature that is like immense space. Human is like space, forever changing energy fields: atoms as our blood circulation, as galaxies originate and stars decline, floating into ash inside. We are, as ash of stars, transmitting light.... "The human series is depicting living models, human bodies resting in their inner self, quite like contemplating. The inspiration of it and my painting style is by sculptures of antique greek times and prehistoric ages, cave paintings, when humans were depicted in a peaceful, idealistic beauty, dignity. Also, eastern wisdom and philosophy says „the precious human body is not so easy to gain, therefore we all human being are responsible to keep body healthy and take care of it and cherish it as a jewel or keep it as a temple or chancel or as the ancient Greek proverb says: „In a healthy body, there is a healthy mind.”

Human series in Witten, Germany: 2013 -2014

My collectors, curators, hosts 2 talented German & German-Spanish contemporary artist friends HEGO Göevert and Dr. Jorge-Luis Maeso Madronero now are proud owners, collectors of my artworks painted in 1999 from Human series. 4 pieces of Human series are now in German Private collection & also 4 small artworks of Urban - New York- series.

The story behind, is a true story:

of a woman, a wife of a friend in Africa, Luanda, who had a pregnancy which caused serious mental health issues during pregnancy, due to  abnormal hormonal change, lead to schizophrenia after giving birth.The husband divorced the wife and stayed alone with the new born child.

The painting is a piece helped me to get over this tragic story as soon as I finished painting it.

This artwork had never ever been displayed before. This is First time I share on my blog.  Uncensored, unpublished piece, adult content.

Recently in COVID-19 times, unfortunately not just mental health issues, but new Omicron Flurona variant endangears pregnant women. 

I find these symptoms tragic and hopefully treated by doctors in hospital correctly, as mental health issues,  as the victims of mental health pandemic after COVID -19 first wave.

The issues of human, human rights and humanity is very important in COVID-19 time.
